Ajpu is the name of the Nahual 20 in the Mayan Calendar.
In the Sixth Sun Calendar, Ajpu, is number 24 / The master adaptor.
The curator Fanni Fetzer invited me to develop a new work and show it alongside
with a selection of some pieces of a private collection of religious Cloister-art.
On the walls, in dialogue with Ajpu, objects and paintings from the Collection of Urs Beat Frei. / On the last day of the show, 11th of October 2015, I performed a metaphorical act within the installation.
It was the second part, the completion of a rebirth ritual that I experienced in may the same year in Paris.
The mission, that my symbolic parents gave me, was to invite 108 people and present myself in gold. An edition of 108 cards was printed and send out. / I announced my new name and within a short choreography exchanged two pieces of Himalaya salt and replaced them by roses quartz.
